Question about Radio Communications
According to the schematic I just looked at the mic for this radio is a 5 pin. As long as it is a plug in and not a din you should have no problem connecting it.All you have to do is re-wire it and be on your way.

I suggest buying a 5 pin to 4 pin adapter. Ebay has them for $6. I would go chopping wires on the mic. Cobra 29 ltd is a nice radio. Have one myself.

ALLways start with ground. Find ground on radio pin with ohm meter. EVERY thing operates off ground. Once you find ground on radio....solder your ground wire on mike cord to corresponding # on mike jack. Once you have ground on proper pin then all else is elementary......use ohm meter to see which wires are TX and RX on mike.....last wire is audio wire.
