Keeps shouting down when i try to power it on

The most common problem for big screen projection tvs entering the protection mode is the convergence system failure or vertical sweep system failure. To determine which, it is best to remove the circuit board that contains the two large aluminum heat sync blocks and look for bad or cracked connection around all of the components that have aluminum heat sync blocks attached to them.

In many cases a resoldering of the foil side of the board will cure this problem. If not, the repair becomes involved and should be referred to your local repair center.

This is usually from a scan failure or the CRT has failed.

Sometimes in these sets, when the CRT is on the edge of failing the set may come on, and then turn off. If the CRT is weak, the AKG circuits see a fault condition and cause the uPC to shout the high voltage and screen bias.

If there is a scan failure occurring, the power supply goes in to a the protection mode.
