Question about Estate by Whirlpool EED4100XQ Estate Electric Dryer

Open Question

Spin cycle Don't know the exact model but what is happening is that the drum is not spinning as fast as it should during the rinse cycle. I've opened the lid while spinning and it just insn't going fast. Thusly, the clothes are still somewhat wet. Then I noticed that on the timer, with just a little bit of time let to spin out, the washer puts a little more water in and then it finishes spinning out. Don't know why, at the near-end of the cycle, that the washer adds a little more water, but it does. Then as slow as the drum moves, the clothes are not spun very dry.

Why does my whirlpool model WTW57ESVW1 starts to rinse toward the end of the spin cycle?

The rinse is supposed to start during the spin...it's what removes most of the soap from your clothing! The spin forces the water through the clothes, flushing all but a small amount of the detergent away. The rinse cycle itself is more to remove solid debris that may have become trapped in the folds of cloth. It does so by floating and agitating the clothes.

The quick wash cycle is only for things that aren't soiled much, that you need to be done fast. It's not for everyday washing, just for things that maybe need no more than a freshening up. It makes it faster by cutting corners.

Whirlpool Duet Washer Model WFW9400SZ00 bangs only during spin cycle.

Yes you are exactly right, these bearings have failed & are causing the noise very common problem with whirlpool front loaders. very expensive to repair worth while looking into replacing instead of repairing as it will just happen again. The new LG machines are the best in my opinion.

My Kenmore he front load washer stopped at the rinse and spin cycle. I don't know the model but it only a few years old. It made a load noise before stopping. I attempted to get it going again wit

Kenmore front loader. stopped at rinse. First ck to see if you washer works at different settings if so its very possible its your timmer or what called the wig wag or solonoid this switches the machine to spin & rinse. A basic service call should resolve your problem.

Frigidaire FTF2140ES washer does not spin at any speed setting. Tumbles normally during wash and rinse. Pump operates and drains normally during the spin cycle, but drum remains still (no attempt to spin).

Usually on these models it is your door switch that is defective. There are two sets of contacts one too lock the door and the other gives contact for the spin cycle.

Washer squeals in rinse or spin

When the washer is in the final spin cycle and starts to sqeal, just pour a little water through the drawer about half of a glass full usually does the trick. What apparantly happens is that the connection/seal between the big grey rubber seal and the stainless steel drum has dried out due to the centrifugal effect of the spin cycle and it needs to be wetted to keep the sealed area lubricated and cool. The squealing is a result of the dry rubbing of these parts during the spin cycle.

My LG TROM wash googd but dosn't want to spin

Check and see what type detergent you are using. I bought regular liquid detergent and the machine began making noise during the spin cycle and the drum would not spin. I was informed that you have to use detergent that is labeled HE (High Efficiency). The regular liquid detergent will suds up during the wash cycle which then causes the drum to slip and not spin during the spin cycle. What you are hearing during the spin cycle is the drum slipping. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and let it reset. This lets the suds dry out. Run a cycle with no spin to rinse out the drum. This should eliminate your problem. If you have clothes in the machine, run a cycle with no spin, just don’t add any more detergent. Then run the normal cycle with spin a second time with no detergent. I hope this cures your problem.

High speed drum rinse ..drum not spinning during rinse cycle

Clean out coin collector thoroughly. Replace drain pump if necessary. Water will drain if you can place drain hose on floor and let water siphon out.
