Download new driver for mouse

I;d expect this to work with the standard usb driver. The dpi is adjusted from beneath ((1600 dpi--blue; 3200 dpi--purple; 5000 dpi--red) and weights inserted from the box - purely mechanical. If it is not operational, my guess would be a problem with the usb lead or with the standard usb drivers of your machine. Check for this latter with any other usb connected item that should be usable from the same port.
If repairing the usb lead itself replace it with a cheap usb lead; these are obtainable in most stores now, including supermarkets, and replacement will be easier than an attempt at repair.

Mouse very erratic and unresponsive

If this is a wireless mouse it will be operating on the 2.4 GHz band. So are any cordless telephones you have and the chances are that your Wifi hub is on the same band - most are. This could cause interference, giving the symptoms described. You need to find a different position for the transceiver (connected by cable to your usb por or simply plugged in without a cable; in this latter case, use a cable for it.).

I have had to guess your setup here. If you have none of these items in close proximity, at least my post may have helped somebody else. But please note how important it is to give all information about the problem device!

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and i need to change the battery. I cant find any latch or button to open the mouse to put new batteries in it! I looked on the MS site and found nothi

There is actually no release button on my 5000. Between the white on-off button and the bluetooth synch button there is a finger notch. If you put your index finger in the notch (pointing toward the base of the mouse you can put your nail under the lip and the batter compartment opens right up. There is a horizontal slot in the battery cover - trying to pry that open does not work. The whole thing is well-cloaked but surprisingly easy when you figure it out!

I have a wireless Rosewill keyboard.changed the batteries now letters are repeating & some not working or working slow.Should I unplug the control box to reset?Wireless mouse not working...

You should try just re-syncing the devices. Press the sync button on the USB receiver itself (the part the plugs into the computer) and then press the corresponding sync buttons on the keyboard and mouse. It will usually be a small button underneath the device.
