Question about Konica Minolta Copier Toner EP6001 CS Pro EP801550,000 Page Yield 8935-602
When powered up, it states open the drawer - indicates that there is a paper jam..but I can't get the legal paper drawer to remain closed.. I can close it all the way but it is like a latch is not closing
To the rear cover located one hole before waste toner box.Introduction one long screwdriver and push the unlock button.

This model has a tendency to fold corners. Have the tech. check the input guide to the fuser unit and also to check the door on the right hand side above the bypass tray. Its a fairly common issue. Also have them search konica-minolta's website for other techs having this problem. Good Luck !

there is a piece of paper in the area between the tray 1 and the door. sometimes you can use cardstock to push the paper out. try it

Below the drum is an assy. that houses two very fine gold plated wires that do two things since the paper goes between these two wires and the drum the first is transfers the image on to the paper from the drum, the second one prevent the paper from sticking to the drum. One is or both are bad, BROKEN? Remove the assy. and replace both. They are very fine and fragile do not lose the springs. If that does not work you might have bad ends on the assy. after a while the plastic breakdowns and allow the voltage to go to ground. The wire carry around 2000 volts during the copy process. None during power off :) Open close the front door resets the code.
