Inbuilt camera is not working

The most likely reason (fault) is that the camera has become disconnected. The cable goes from the mainboard to the camera via the hinged screen. this can mean either that the cable has snapped or that the connector has come loose. Although, there is a possibility that the camera hardware has failed. It will need a strip to identify the real problem.

If you are asking about getting movie clip sound while playback in camera then you wont get it because camera has no inbuilt speaker to give you that sound. Transfer movie clip in computer the get its sound because camera has inbuilt mic to record sound.

if your using a lenovo computer, you need to enable the camera first, you can enable the camera by pressing FN+ ESC key.

Go to Compaq and download the inbuilt camera driver.

I assume they are on the in-built memory, you should be able to access this by removing the SD card from the camera, putting the camera in playback mode,connecting it to your computer and the inbuilt memory should come up as a removable drive. Then just copy the pics.
Format the inbuilt memory when finished.

G'day geddins04...is the camera inbuilt in a pc or laptop? or is the camera a stand alone ??Does the camera come with software? And what "operating system" are you using? :))

There are cameras having dual memory, that is inbuilt and card memory. Suppose your pictures can be downloaded from the inbuilt memory.your card may have problems. You try to format the card using camera and then give another try.
