I cant use my fujitsu lifebook p1120 because i need to reinstall windows xp and i do not have the product key help please.

Hi there,

There should be a sticker on your laptop that has the product key on it. It is a 25 character key in 5 key sections separated by dashes. If this sticker is not on your laptop for some reason, there are applications that can help you find out what your key is. I use Magical Jelly Bean and it can be found at this link:

http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Have a try with it and let me know if it works for you or not. Any questions leave a comment!

How do you replace the fan on a Fujitsu s2210 laptop?

How to Replace a Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan
1. Follow your laptop owner's manual and assembly guide carefully as you disassemble the laptop. Touch something metal periodically to remove static charge, and work on a large table with a bright light source.
2. Turn off the laptop and unplug it. Remove the main battery, DVD drive , Ac adapter and the hard drive. The hard drive is usually located in a slot on one side of the laptop. Remove the screw that holds the cover in place, then pull out the hard drive, screen sled.
3. Turn the laptop over and remove the screws on the bottom that hold the keyboard in place. Flip the laptop over, open it, then lift the keyboard up and out. Unplug the flexible ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the motherboard.
4. Remove the screws that hold the laptop keyboard bezel and palm rest in place. Carefully pry loose any plastic snaps on the sides, then lift the bezel and palm rest up and out.
5. Unplug the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 CPU Cooling Fan. Remove the screws that hold the heat sink and fan in place, then remove the entire unit from the laptop. Remove any thermal compound residue from the bottom of the heat sink and the CPU.
6. Apply a thin layer of thermal compound on the CPU, then replace the heat sink and cpu cooling fan. Replace the screws, plug the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan back in, then reassemble the laptop.
7. Plug the laptop in and turn it on. After you use it for a few minutes, you should hear the new Fujitsu cpu cooling fan running and feel warm air blowing from the vent on the side of the laptop. A Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan does not run continuously, so don't be concerned if the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 Fan shuts off periodically.

Changing keyboard on Fujitsu T5010

Remove the square screw covers above the keyboard on either side of the swiveling screen hinge. Unscrew the 2 screws and use a small flat head screw driver to remove the plastic cover above the keyboard. Do this by inserting the screw driver underneath the plastic cover near to the f keys on the keyboard and gently pop the cover off. Carefully remove the ribbon from the motherboard, use a small screw driver to release the clip that holds the ribbon in place (ribbon located above f3,f4 keys). Slide the keyboard up and it should release if it doesn't then there may be some sticky tape holding the keyboard down, this is located behind the f2,f3,f4,f5 keys, carefully pull the keyboard away but hold the keyboard by the f keys so that you do not damage the keyboard by bending it. Reverse the procedure to fit new keyboard

Need to reattach the W key on my Fujitsu Lifebook P7230

You may have broken a plastic "hinge", more like a tab or clip. Try taking it off again and examine the underside of the key. If it looks ok, try putting it back on. If a plastic tab/clip is broken on the left side, you should be able to go to a small computer repair shop and get a replacement key for it. That way you don't have to replace the keyboard.

How do you put the keys back onto a fujitsu siemens laptop?

Usually on key's, there is a little white type of plastic thing on the back of it, if you unlock that, you should be able to just position the key back into place, and push down, and it should lock itself in and stay there.

Good luck?

CPU cooling fan failure on Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook 7010D

I have opened dozens of these in the past and i have one in front of me at the moment...the easiest way to do it is. Get a blank white sheet of paper. Close your laptop and turn it face down. Remove all the screws underneath. As you remove the screws put them on the white piece of paper. So if you remove the screw from the top right then put the removed screw on the top right of the blank white page.

When you have all the screw removed the first thing to come off is the section at the on/off button (about 1nch thick covers the six buttons and has the display on it) Open the screen flat and fully extended.Remember at the back you will need to clip off on both side the grey plastic piece.(beside 2 usb connections and network port) when this section comes off you will see 2 screws underneath for the keyboard to come off...I think you will get it from here....
PS: watch out for the wireless button on the front left... this can pop off when putting it all back together....I'd say somewhere like maplin is a good place to look for one of these fans when you have it removed....best of luck
