Question about Exercise & Fitness
When in Demo Mode, the console will go through a repeating lighting pattern. This mode will only become active when the treadmill is plugged in, the main on/off switch is turned on, and the safety key is not inserted into the console.
The Demo Mode was added to attract attention to the treadmill while it is on display. By default, all treadmills with Demo Mode will come with it turned on. Demo Mode can be turned off at any time.
ethod #1 to switch from the Demo Mode:
1.the STOP button while inserting the safety key tPress and hold o enter the user information mode.
2.Look in the Calories window. When Demo Mode is active, the letter 'd' will appear.
3.Press the SPEED DOWN button to toggle the mode on and off.
4.Once the mode is set as desired, remove the safety key.
Follow the steps and fix it.
God bless you

You may have a belt and deck problem. Test by the following procedure:
without the power on stand on the walking belt, push the belt in the, direction it normally turns. If the belt is very difficult to turn (on most treadmill) this means that you have high belt/deck friction I first apply silicone lubricant between the belt & deck to see if that clears up the problem. Most problems originate from the belt and deck 75 to 85% of the time.

it could be two reasons
1 belt and deck--solution (lubrecate it with good spray lube(home depo)and try it if it changes it is belt and deck
2)motor brushes(less possible),
it happens when drive motor draws more amps cause of belt or motor brushes but note that you need to lubricate the belt and deck so it will clear it away

SOURCE: I have a Nordictrack exp
Right next to the power cord is a circuit breaker. Check it to be sure it has not tripped. If so, reset the breaker.
Check the outlet, be sure there is power.
If that checks out, remove the motor cover (unplug the machine from power first) and check the fuse on the controller board. Chances are if the fuse is blown, the controller might be defective. Replace the fuse and try the machine. If it blows again, the controller is defective..
