Go into your settings on the iPhone and go to 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'. Click on your email account, and click into the account name again on the next screen. Scroll to the bottom and click on 'Advanced'. Under 'Mailbox Behaviors' click 'Sent Mailbox' and scroll down to the section where it says 'On the Server' and click on your 'Sent' folder (or which ever folder you want to save the email in) and you should be all set! It should save a copy to server and also keep a copy on your iPhone as well.

SOURCE: Set up delta email account on iphone

This has been my project for the day. Delta has no support in place for anything other than the Blackberry devices they already use. I am also trying to set up my Delta work email on my iPhone 8GB 3G and have been frustratingly unsuccessful with a workaround yet.

Please let me know if you find a solution.

How do I sync Notes with my Mac laptop and my iPhone using Mountain Lion?

Hi Rachel,

In order to sync your Notes between your Apple devices, please use the following steps:
  • Go to your iCloud settings and sign up for an @me.com email address.
  • Once you have an @me.com email address, write a note in the Notes app on your iPhone.
  • Go to the iCloud website and open up the "Mail" application
  • Underneath all of your email folders (Inbox, Sent, etc.) there should be a folder called "Notes"
  • Open that folder and read your note!

Need to setup email on iphon 3gs. I need step by step info.

Setting up email accountsEmail account setup with Mail is easy. If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account.
If you're setting up a Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL account, touch the icons for those services on the Add Account screen and enter your account information. If you're setting up an email account from another provider, select Other. In software version 2.0 or later, Mail can automatically setup many popular POP and IMAP email accounts using just your email address and password.1 As Mail looks up settings that match your email account you may see a note appear that will describe any limitations you may experience in using your email account. If Mail cannot find the settings needed to setup your email account, refer to the documentation from your email provider on how to manually setup an email account.
Syncing email account settings to iPhone
You use iTunes to sync your email account setttings to iPhone or iPod touch. iTunes supports Mail on a Mac, and Microsoft Outlook (2007 or 2003) and Outlook Express on a PC. See article "Syncing iPhone " for further details.

Note: Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves. Whether the messages in your inbox appear on both iPhone or iPod touch and your computer depends on the type of email account you have and how it's configured. You may need to enter your password on the device after syncing account settings.

How do I synch outlook 2003 with iphone

You didn't say whether you're trying to sync everything (mail, calendars, contacts) or just some things or one thing (like contacts only). I don't know if you're using an Exchange server or even if you have the info you'll need to sync with an Exchange server.

I have a Windows mobile device (AT&T Tilt) running Outlook 2007 and everything is sync'd. We also started purchasing the iphone for our employees and sync their email, calendar and contacts to their phone.

I could probably give you step-by-step information (based on how I do this for my users at work) if I knew whether you'll use iTunes to do this or Exchange Active Sync and what you want to sync between your phone and outlook. One method (iTunes) will only update your data between Otulook and the phone when you connect it to the computer with Outlook configured on it but, the way we do it at work, they receive email, data, changes, etc in real time.

Try using this link http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/mail/

What you will find here is support topics and instructions for Exchange Active Sync, setting up email accounts, troubleshooting for contact and calendar syncing.

You can also search support on Apple's Web site. Entering the keywords: iphone outlook 2003 will bring up a lot of support info.

You can use iTunes or MobileMe for synchronization. If using iTunes then try this:

You can configure which items are synchronized during a one time set up process. After initial set up, each time you connect the iphone to your computer, the changes made on your computer or device are synchronized.

  1. Connect your iPhone to your computer. iTunes should open automatically.
  2. In iTunes, in the source list, under Devices, click the entry for your iPhone.
  3. Click the Info tab.
  4. Select which items you would like to sync. For example to sync only calendars, under Calendars, you would click Sync calendars from, and then click Outlook.
  5. Do one of the following:
  • To synch all calendars, click All Calendars.
  • To limit the calendars that are synched, click Selected calendars and then click the calendars you want to sync.
6. Click Apply.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for using Fixya and you can let me know how helpful I've been by rating this solution.

Using Outlook on my pc - disappearing email on my iPhone

Hi, Possibly this could be the reason. Your iPhone might have been setup with IMAP connection, and Outlook with POP3. In this case, once email is downloaded by Outlook, it will be deleted from the att.net server. So, go to Advanced in your Outlook account configuration and Select the option leave a copy on the server.

Then you will have to delete all the emails individually from your phone too.

Thanks
Sandeep

Iphone: problems deleting music

n itunes, on the top menu bar, where (File & Edit) Reside you should see store amongst the options. Click that, then on the drop down menu click authorize computer, enter your apple id. After that see if you can use the option "Transfer purchaces from iphone to itunes". After that is done look on your music library list in itunes, uncheck the songs that are in there (the ones from your iphone should be if synced properly). Now select you iphone from the device list. Next to the summary tab on main itunes screen you should see info next to that. Amongst those tabs locate Music. Click it and make sure Sync selected songs is checked, then in the bottom right corner click Apply. This process should "de-sync" your music. I hope this info helps.
