Question about Braun MR 5550 M HC + BC MultiQuick Professional Handheld Blender
Braun Vario to be repair in Cape Town ? Where
Part 3: Opening up the Braun handheld blender/mixer turbo 600, typ 4191.
The front end and the motor are a cast-joint part. With one more circumferential kerf, the grip-part came free, also showing that there is no other way to open the machine irreversibly.
It also showed that the contacts between the motor and the print are/were relatively loose, which amazed me for a motor of 600 Watt. And in my case: they were burnt. That explained the machine not working. It is surprising that the thermal safety didn't kick in when my wife used the machine

There is no direct replacement - this unit has been designed strictly for US voltage. The only thing you can do is to buy a voltage adaptor, plug it in to the mains and your Braun in it - the only bad part about that arrangement is that you lose some mobility.
