Rubbish!
Cleaning the jet is a job ONLY for a gas fitter as it involves disturbing both the case seals and the gas pipework. DON'T RISK YOUR SAFETY, besides which if the pilot wasn't powerful enough it would continually go out.
Check (if you're competant to do so) that there's 240vac across the gas valve solenoid connections. If so then the gas valve will need replacing by a GAS SAFE REGISTERED fitter.

Baxi solo WM 50/4 RS pilot light is lit, Boiler will heat water but not rads have you any ideas thanks sam

Double check that the programmer is calling for the boiler to fire, and also that the thermostat is turned up enough.... you will hear it click as you turn it up... if the radiators still dont get warm...
then In the airing cupboard there should be a pump on a three port valve that says A,B, and AB on the different pipe outlets... It seems that this is possibly stuck in one position.... Sometimes the servo motor on top of the three port valve (square metal box with wires going into it) goes weak and requires replacement, these are not expensive from a decent plumbing spares shop I.e Pts (plumbing trade supplies) and are a doddle to install, just isolate power to it, take square the top cover off the valve to reveal the innards and you will see it straight away... Like a round brass cylinder with a flat top... It should have two screws holding it in...

Hope this helps
Thanks
Steve

We have just moved into an old house with a Baxi open fire and have no idea how to use it. Do all Baxis have boilers? How do we find the model name/number? Is there any risk in using it if the backplate is...

baxi do boilers they are on the baxi potterton wed site, but they are gas would not use with the back platecracked this old fire place you may have trouble finding parts if any , try someone one that deals with woodburners of fire places , they could well be you bestline to go down or a chimney sweep

Basically it says (turn on the power first) Turn the knob to the the star/flame marking. Push the knob in, hold it for approximately 10 seconds. Release and check the small flame is lit. Now turn it to your desired heat setting.

Got a baxi bermuda 552, back boiler not working

Hi clean pilot light and change the thermocouple , you will have to remove the gasfire to get to the boiler if unsure best get a gas fitter to do this as this is not easy to explaine , simple job but you have to know what you are doing , it might be you need a service on the bbu and the gasfire then the thermocouple could be done at this time.

How to light pilot light on back boiler?

Hi. we have a baxi bermuda. I know that you need to hold in the silver button on the left while repeatedly pressing red/ignighter button until pilot is lit. Hold in the silver button for at least another 30 seconds.
Good luck, ours wont light anymore so was on here looking for advice.

Baxi Boiler not firing, pilot light ok

first check the pilot is alight, it sounds like it is cause you can hear the boiler click. that click is the gas vale solenoid trying to open, if there is 240-230volts at gas valve when you here the click and pilot is alight the gas valve is broken. if you test for voltage look on the gas valve and see if its 240 or 24v obviously if it 24 v check for 24 volts, let me know
