Question about Iomega 2 TB Home Media Network Hard Drive Cloud Edition 34766 (Gray)
I am having a tough time configuring Personal Cloud and Remote Access features of my Iomega Network Media Drive. Connection Type : ADSL Router : Linksys 1200. (Ports already forwarded with UPnP enabled: 443, 50599, 6881-6999 for torrents.) Errors : "A connection could not be verified between TZO's servers and your device" "Router not configured for port forwarding"
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Make sure you are at least using a CAT 5 cable with your device. You will want to do a couple things as well. Give your device a static IP address (manually configure the IP) from withing the devices interface (login to your device, System tab on the left and Network tab on the right). Next go to your folders you are wanting to share and click the DLNA button that corresponds with the folder you are wanting your media server to share out. You should be good to go.

SOURCE: I installed the Iomega 1tb
Check tcp ip settings of your harddrive. Make sure it is in the range of your local network. check the ping command from computer if you get reply then it is in network. Then you can use it. Make sure network cable is fine. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
