Question about Averatec 1000 Notebook

1 Answer

Averatec N1000 dark screen

We've been using the laptop since Christmas with no problem. Today my husband turned it on and the entire screen is dark. In the right light you can see pop-up boxes (like the shut down menu, etc.) but we can't read anything or see well enough to do anything. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

As far as i know the it's a keyboard toggle, hold down Fn and hit the F11 key.

I would recommend installing the latest drivers for your system, especially the chipset driver. You can find the other drivers here.

Do not know how to turn on the wireless in my averatec n1000 series laptop

Try pushing FN+F11 to turn on the wireless card. My sister had this problem and we fixed it with this combination. Also this is a laptop computer.

Try Fn+F11. It worked for my friend who had the same problem on an Averatec n1000.
