Possible that the INLET valve is defective , check on the voltage to the valve coil and see if there is any residual voltage present that seems to trigger the valve. If so there is some fault on the program controller unit. You can remove the connections and reset , if not the fault can be due to output from the drive.
If the leak comes otherwise it is the fault of the valve not shutting down fully and must be replaced..

SOURCE: No water is coming in the washer before the agitator starts

The most common cause of a washing machine not taking any water in is either a kinked fill hose or the tap becoming faulty whereby you switch it on but the valve inside doesn't turn. Another common cause is the tap getting accidentally switched off and people not realising. Other causes can be wiring faults, water valve faults or programme control faults. these days the vast majority of washing machines are cold fill only and should give an error code if they can't take in water.
Most washing machines are controlled by software programmes these days and produce error codes if they don't detect the correct amount of water has been taken in within a set amount of time. The error code for not filling should be mentioned in the instruction book
Washing machine making a humming noise when trying to fill?
If the washing machine wont take in any water at all, plus you can hear a humming noise (not normally present), check that both your taps are turned on, or that the water supply hasn't been cut off in someway. A gentle humming from the back of the washing machine could be the water valves being energised and trying to take water in.

  1. Carefully pull the washing machine out ,Turn off the taps supplying the washing machine
  2. Unscrew the fill hose(s) (Have a bucket or bowl and towel ready, there may be a spurt of water at first due to the pressure in the hose)If you get a spray of water coming out that lasts longer than a second or so the tap may not be actually turned off properly.
  3. Hold the hose over a bowl or bucket and switch the tap back on to see if there is a decent supply of water coming through the hose
  4. Adequate water supply available?
If water comes through at a decent flow rate then check the filter in the water valve on the washing machine. You can pull it out with a pair of pliers and clean it. However, this will only explain your fault if it is severely blocked up, which is rare. Be careful not to damage the filter with the pliers as they are often delecate and brittle. If you create a hole in one - even a small hole - it can let grit and even small stones through into the water valve and damage it resulting in possible flooding in the future if an obstruction stops the valve shutting off properly.
No adequate water supply coming through the hose?
If no water comes through the hose, or the flow is very slow, then the fault is in the plumbing or there could be a kink somewhere in the hose. If your machine was plumbed in using those self plumbing taps that clamp on to the copper water pipes then they do sometimes get clogged up and need the hole clearing. If this happens to the cold supply it can be achieved by turning the stop tap off first, but if the hot supply is blocked - which is the most likely of the two - then you have to turn off the cold supply and then drain the hot water tank by turning on the hot tap until the water is drained out (unless you know where the valve is to turn the hot water off in your water cylinder).
If your machine is plumbed in using the ubiquitous blue (and red) levers to turn the tap on and off they can commonly go faulty where you think you've switched it off or on but only the plastic lever has moved and it hasn't actually operated the valve inside the tap. This is typically caused when the red or blue plastic lever cracks. You can usually operate the tap using pliers.

I need a manual for Spectra TL3635 INOX washer

The manual doesn't appear to be available online, but you don't really need it.

Remove the drawer by pulling it out, and then lift and pull. Are you sure it isn't marked what goes where? My Whirlpool washer is marked in raised writing.

The detergent is one large compartment that is open at the back.

The bleach dispenser is usually in the middle and is small.

The fabric Softener is full depth, but has a system which siphons the softener out when water is added to it. In other words it is a reservoir that holds the fabric conditioner until needed.

With the drawer removed, turn the machine on to do a small wash. Water will come down on the section for detergent at the very beginning. towards the end of the first fill, another jet of water will come down to add bleach to the already filled machine. After the rinses, when it gets to final rinse, a jet of water will hit the Fabric Conditioner compartment. Get ready to insert the drawer if the water splashes out, or plug the front with a tea towel.

Fills with water correctly, will not go to next cycle

Hi ,, ok lets try some fault finding,,, try putting the washing machine on a no or low temp programme like wool,, or even the fill empty spin , see if it moves then,, if the programmer moves through then spins, i would assume the thermostat is broken,, if it moves through but does not spin , it may be the heating element,, if it does not move at all in any programme i would assume the programmer has a problem

Lasko pump motor in jetted tub comes on when switch is turned on but doesn't pump any water from jets. Unit has been used very little and is about 8 years old. Is there any such thing as priming these...

you can check to make sure there is water to the front of the pump. What they use on their tubs is called flooded suction pump i.e. there has to be enough water to the front of the pump end to **** it through and push it up and out of the wet end.
fill your tub up and loosen the discharge union on the top of the pump until water starts to come out, quickly tighten the union back down and then see if you can get the pump to start pushing water.

Check you dont have a small inline filter inside the inlet water pipe. Either at the "tap" end or can be on the machine itself. They look like a small sieve. Remove it and clean with a toothbrush. Then put back.

Your problem is the water inlet valve has failed part # AP3128776 This is fairly common especially if you have hard water or well water.

Whirlpool Roper Gets to Rinse then water runs but will not fill

The contacts for the outlet pump have fused together in the programmer so that as soon as you apply power the pump motor starts running.

Remove the power first

Quick check is to take off the back panel locate the pump and remove one of the supply leads
put some insulating tape around the end of the lead you have taken off in case it shorts out then put the power back on and try the machine, it should then fill and start to agitate .

If that works then you need a new programmer .

Turn off the power , replace the lead and then put the machine back on to drain out the water

Black come out the jets when first operating them

Didn't fully drain at the end of last year, that gunk was mold, rust and gunk that's been sitting in the piping since last year. Not really a problem just remember to take a closer look at the plumbing on your tub next year and get all of the possible places that water may hold drained completely.
