Samsung tv made loud noise and will not power up

Sounds like capacitor exploded. Check power supply area. Flat panel tv's use cheap capacitors. Most likely this capacitor is in the power supply area. The top will be popped, they're made to pop when they go bad. Have professional fix it.

What's capacitor marked "C2250" on BL0650M01011 board

Good luck, parts are not marked as they are not sold and they do not want a board fixed, they want you to buy another one.

A blown/weak capacitor can cause unpredictable starting. Usually, when a capacitor fails, it either dries-up internally, or explodes (or nearly so) causing the case to bloat and emitting a white residue. The part should not be too expensive to replace as a test. Good luck!

Something went pop and them the power went out and won't power back on?

Most probably a capacitor exploded either in the AC adapter or on the laptop's motherboard. In order to find out where the damage exactly happened, you can either test your AC adapter with another similar laptop, or test a new AC adapter with your laptop. Alternatively, you can test the output voltage from your AC adapter using a voltmeter.
If the AC adapter turns out to be working properly, then the damage happened on the motherboard. You will need to disassemble the laptop to get access to the motherboard & inspect it. The exploded capacitor could be replaced with a new one to fix the problem.

I just recently purchased a Frontman amp about 11 years old . It started to blow fuses then a very loud buzz without any input no output. Is it worth the fix?

Assuming the fuse being blown is in the power supply, it's common for high output amplifiers to suffer from dried out capacitors. The really big main filter caps on the power supply board. The caps themselves often show a bulging of the body and can literally explode if the unit is left on.

If that is all that's required I'd definitely get it fixed as any tech worth his salt should be able to change them in a short time. Actually getting the correct value capacitor may cause a hold up but they are available.

I guess whether you go ahead is a matter between you and your wallet or wife :-) but I certainly wouldn't condemn the amp just yet.

Replacing exploded capacitor

Now it's OK to replace the cap, however in all probability it will fail again real soon, as you have NOT found the "Cause" you are treating the "Symptom" not the "Cause". One MUST remedy the "Cause" of this fault, FIRST, it is usually caused by AC ripple, Electrolytic Capacitors, hate over Voltage and AC. Also if a Cap has exploded, then you do have real issues, generally over-voltages. Most likely coming from the faulty switchmode PSU, I would also expect "Collateral" component damage in the "area" as well. check all IC's Diodes, & Transistors "Attached" to that cap. Be careful and good luck. Use GO contact cleaner, or similar, to remove residue..

Tv with no pic no sound on and off work

Hello mackenzie212, The loud pop you heard was most likely a capacitor exploding. I beleve the capacitor is also located in the power supply section of your TV. If you take the back off of the set you will see what can be described as a exploded, or bloated can. This component can be replaced, but I advise you to have it done by a qualified TV technician. This is due to the fact that their may be other unknown factors as to why the capacitor exploded, and a qualified TV technician can determine these causes past the obvious changing of the defective component. I hope this helps, Thank you, Shuttle83

Turn the tv on, 1-2sec's l8r it turns off

sounds like the TV has a damaged power supply, most like caused by a bad capacitor on the power board, the capacitor exploded and leaked all the gases which stores electricity, so the power board isn't getting enough flow of electricity for the tv to stay on, very easy fix if you know what to do and have good soldering skills.

Microwave exploded.

Did it make a popping noise, like a .22 cal pistol? Probably one of the larger capacitors on the power supply blew up.
