My WeighTriton T2 readout says EEEE then it shuts off
Does that mean its broken or is there a certain trick to resetting the scale. Because even after i calibrate it with a 100g weight, at the end it flashesn CAL then its supposed to read PASS then you remove the weight from the scale cycle it off then back on and your ready to rock. However my scale flashes CAL when finished but then just EEEE and it turns off. Then when i turn them on after shutting off, the readout says out 2

Remove all the batteries. In ones with memory, there are two sets, a 9 volt and 2 x AA.

My scale readout is now blank? Do I have to buy a new battery?
First, did you notice of the scale had a "lo" or "bat" display before it went blank? If so this means the battery needs to be replaced. If you did not get the battery indicator, did you "miss" seeing this? Has it been a week since you were on the scale? If you stand on the scale regularly and did not receive the battery indicator then you can try the reset procedure above.

Yes it means battery needs replacing. Check oringinal papers that came with scale to see if you need to order special battery. Otherwise go to a battery store that recharges batterys. They usually carry most makes. Take your battery with you so you can match right one.
If the display is showing "partial digits" on the display, it means a scale is excessively shaken (sometimes during shipping) it's possible for the LCD to become partially separated from the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). On many models you can gently press on the LCD and it will reconnect. However on many scales it's difficult to reach the LCD (without removing the cover) and thus the scale will often have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. I just had this problem on set Salter scales (says 3309 on label on back so assume that's model no) which came up OUT2 solidly after hadn't been used for a while.
Looking on WWW this means on other scales they need to be recalibrated. There are only 2 buttons on ths model ON/Zero and 2nd is mode for grams, oz etc. Discovered by trial and error have to hold down the on button and repeatedly click the measure button as it powers up, screen says err2 press on button again and says 5000g, put 5000g weight on scales, press on button again display says CAL press on button and it at first came up with EEEE and failed but next attempt it said PASS and it all worked again. I used 2 x 1.5kg bags flour and 2 x 1Kg bags sugar to make 5kg with bit tipped out of one to make exact and checked on another set scales. So trick appears to be finding how to get your scales in to calibrate mode and what the weight it expects is.
