Intertek is a product testing, and certification company. Their name on a piece of equipment means the inspected that model for electrical and sanitation standards used in Europe. They are not the maker, and there isn't a question here.
make sure the overload relay and start ptc are properly connected to the compressor.also check the wiring. if the wiring is good either compressor is no good or you need to replace the over load relay and ptc switch.rare occasions the thermastat switch needs to be replaced.i hope this helps your problem.good luck i would like to here how things went for you
Some of the PTC relays just give out for no apparent reason. (the brown ones more than any other) But in your case you can see physical signs of overheating. I would suspect the compressor has seized up, or has a shorted winding.
