Re: blurriness!

Water is a possible cayse Take batteries and memory card out of camera Take a cup of rice or salt put into a cotton bag or knot into a cotton handkerchief. Put the knotted handkerchief and camera into a zip shut poly bag or an ordinary poly bag and tie it shut. Then put bag into a warm dry place for a couple of days The Salt/rice will draw the moisture out of the system gently. Come back in a week tell if it worked

Two questions - why do some of my pics taken outside at night with or without a flash look OK through the LCD but when played back they're blurry - using both the zoom and regular mode. Also, how do I...

The LCD is illuminated. When you press the shutter button, do you move the camera at the same time? Try taking a couple of shots while the camera is on a firm surface or a tripod to see if that makes a difference. Why are you using your printer to transfer pictures to your computer? Use a separate card reader like the one pictured below and then you can download your videos to a separate folder you create on your desktop. typrice_58.jpg

I get: "There are not enough free disk space. Delete one or more files to free disc space" What does this mean? I've never gotten this before Wesley Bell

it wants you to delete old pictures because the memory (card or internal) is full.
you can either delete some pictures / videos or you can transfer them to the computer, and remove them from the camera.
Another option would be to buy a new (possibly bigger) memory card such as SD i believe for this camera, if you post the camera model i can tell you the exact type of card you would need.

post here if you need more help.

Blurry pics

Go into the setup menu and scroll to "reset" and follow the on-screen instructions. Sometimes that will restore your camera to original specs.

SAF error message & blurry pictures

maybe you need a new memory card if your card is full sometimes it can cause a camera not to work or shut down because of an overload of files.  If you memory card is not full most likely your camera has a defect to it. I suggest you take to a person who specializes in fixing cameras by your company. For the burry picture thing, there are different settings on a camera and I'm pretty sure that there is one to sharpen the picture images.

Blurry pictures

You're both right. The pictures are blurry because the shutter speed is too slow, but it's too slow because there isn't enough light for it to be faster. Try this: Set the ISO to 800 Set the camera at shutter priority mode, and enter 1/160 for wide angle to mid-zoom, and 1/400 for full zoom. If the pictures come out too dark ( and you're too far to use the flash ), you can always brighten them on the computer. But if they're blurry, you can't really fix that.
