Question about Beko Washing Machines
In the wash or spin cycles the drum does not turn/spin but it pumps or drains the water out.
Hi calex if your beko wma10w washing machine wont drain or has a spin problem then you have to check the carbon brushes first.
Also check all waste pipes are clear and inspect the pump I have included this video below.
At our website I am doing self diagnostic videos on these beko's as we speak so all tutorials will be in this link below
How to replace Beko Washing Machine Motor Carbon Brushes
you might find this test video helpful but only do it if you have checked the motor

Hi guys.... I have Beko washing machine and it basically started doing the same. Start cycle it fills up, tumbkles a few times then wont progress. It turned out, with mine, it was simply the machine was unable to drain its water. Look at the front, bottom right there should be a flap that pulls open? Behind is a knob/handle that screws in/out. Undo it and water may come out. This is basically the part that cathces any items, such as the kids leaving buttons, toys, earphones and in particular...HAIR CLIPS!!!! What I did was as follows;
Turn it anticlockwise...open it..the knob should pull ot exposing a hole which a pipe/tube comes out of. You may find it full of hair / bits n bobs / hair clips, basically anything thats been in pockets or tumbling around your drum for months!
Get your fingers in and pull it all out (Bit like a plug/drain in your bath full of old hair, yuk) Then screw it back in, machine off then on again. open then shut the door as if starting a new load. You will hear the water fill up. When it gets further on and wants to spin etc, you will hear the water being pumped out of the drum. You should have a hose coming ou the back and directed into your sink drain??
CHECK that hose is not going "uphill" too much as the pump cant get water to go too steeply uphill. Mine also had that problem. Coz of the kitchen unit the drain hose came out the back then up about 45 degrees to go into sink drain.
The waste water will just run back into the machine.
With the hose AND the blocked waste outlet, the cycle will obviously stop running otherwise it will spin at 1000rpm with several gallons of water in it - safety cut off I reckon.
Anyway, after weeks of debating calling someone out, I made the waste hose horizontal or even downhill AND dragged all the gunk out the front flap thingy and its been running perfect ever since.

Please perform the following
The first thing to check is the lid switch. Open the lid and you'll see a recessed spot that a tab on the lid fits into. Put a screwdriver into the spot, press down and see if you hear a click. If you don't, the switch is bad. That's if you're lucky.
It could also be something as serious as the transmission. Try this: In the search box at the top of the page, type in repair (brand, like ur Whirlpool or anyother etc) washer. A list of sites will come up with a bunch of troubleshooting tips and repair instructions. I used this to fix my washer a couple of weeks ago. Good luck.
Please rate this,Thank u

more than likely the pump needs replacing, first of all remove the outlet drain hose from the the place it discharges and lower it into a bucket, this should allow it to syphon away, you may need to empyt the bucket a few times once the machine is empty you should be able to put it on its spin cycle once it has spun locate and remove the filter to remove any objects or lint, fill machine with warm water and try to drain and spin via the programme,if this do not work fit a new pump

Check the filter, which is located at the bottom front right of washer behind a flap or drop down cover.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
Please rate my solution.
