The pioneer model listed here has two convergence chips and if one or both (should be both changed) have failed they need to be replaced. In customer menu select convergence and see if set will adjust or not first.
Once the board is cracked it is no longer repairable (even if it's a tiny crack that may not appear to interrupt any connections), and you would have to replace the complete board. Any attempt to repair or continue using a cracked board may cause more damage to the entire unit. yes ,you need to replace both STK392-110s,or 120s,i always upgrade to STK392-180s.These are your convergence ics and you do need a service techician in order to fix this". after replacing both ics you have to realine complete convergence your looking at anywhere from 285.00 -350.00 depends on labor.one lady on here was told cost of repair on her set was 700.00 she has same problem.thats where she lives different prices from state to state.
