You might check your physical connection of the cables to your projector. Or a cable might have a bent pin.

The tv will turn on for 10 seconds and then power off with lamp indicator failure. The ballast and bulb has been replace the same problem model 52525 52 inch

The problem with your Mitsubishi is the Power supply board and the Digital board must be reworked. Numerous capacitors must be replaced because they have dried out or are bulged as with the power supply. If you would like to try and replace the 2 caps in the power supply first that will have to be your decision. If you choose not to a service center can send your cube off to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt for approximately $300.00 of which is a steal.,

The projector comes on, shows an image, then shuts off

power supply problem. the capacitors are probably drying out. it takes a boost of power to strike the lamp, and if the power supply can't handle it, it shuts down. replace the power supply.

My mitsubishi ws-65809 will not power up.

Mine is doing the same thing. I just talked to the repair guy. It is a power supply problem. Try unplugging it for 5 minutes and turning it back on. Also if you were having problem with any picture issues it is the convergance, and that requires chip replacement. They are estimating $350.00 to replace the power supply.

Most likely the convergence output IC has shorted out and has overloaded the convergence power supply, which has stopped working. The computer senses that the convergence power supply is not running and shuts the set down. The convergence IC should be replaced, the power supply restored and the convergence circuits realigned by someone experienced in Mitsubishi projection sets. When I do a housecall for a set like that I charge $150, but shops in your area will vary so ask around.
