TMobile wing dials the last number multiple times automatically.
Even when locked, my Wing dials the last number sent or received over and over again until the battery runs out. I had to dial 611 after every "real" telephone call so at least I don't have to pay for the calls, or annoy my co-workers again.
Re: TMobile wing dials the last number multiple times...
I think maybe the dial button is messed up (Under the key). You know how sometimes when something stuck in certain key of ur pc keyboard, it will keep typing that letter?! You might just need clean under the dial button.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Step 1 Check to see if the return days have passed for your device. This usually occurs after 121 days of contract use.
Step 2 Dial "611" from your device or dial (877) 453-1304 from any phone.
Step 3 Ask the customer service representative for the "Unlock Code" for your T-Mobile Wing. Tell the representative you plan to travel overseas if you will using the phone on vacation, or simply mention that you have been using T-Mobile service for more than 120 days. Let them know that you will be using a SIM card from another provider to receive and make calls at a lower cost, if you happen to be traveling.
Step 4 Enter the unlock code given to you by the T-Mobile representative. The unlocked code usually entails entering a series of key presses as described by the customer service representative.
Step 5 Let the device reset or cycle through the unlocking process. You are now ready to use the device on a variety of cell phone carriers.
You need to have the network setting setup on the phone by your carrier. even though the phone is unlocked the current network setting are for t-mobile. if your not using t-mobile most of that stuff wont work.
It took me a long *** time to fix my wing, but this is the only way i found. shout out to my homie muhammed for showing me:
hold both left and right toggle button simultaneously, and use stick to press the reset button. continue to hold buttons....
it will reformat. press send to wipe the phone.
then, use active sync to completely wipe the micro sd memory card once wipe is complete
this will delete the static charge virus
lastly, go to tmobile website and download the rom software upgrade.
reconnect the wing to your pc
charge the phone past 50%
click on the new software upgrade icon and follow instructions.
the screen will show 3 lines, green red and blue with the new upgrade version numbers.
once complete, you have completely upgraded the tmobile wing to the fullest extent
if this does not work, then sadly enough.... your problem is from
dropping your phone too many times and causing the components to become
loose connections. aka the sliding keyboard.
i also noticed that the only thing stopping the keyboard from stopping
is a tiny square piece of plastic. but then again, this phone was
crafted in china. chinese plastic isn't the most sturdy composite
ok first you need microsoft sync on your pc second you need to download the wing update from t mobile it will walk you through the process the bars you are seeing means it is in flashing mode this software will fix the problem any questions e mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have had the same issue twice now, both times I was able to buy replacement buttons on e bay for about 10 dollars, however there is no instructions, and I think it was my fault it broke the second time because they are so delicate and difficult to replace without breaking a clip. However they are cheap and easy to find on e bay if you wanna chance the repair yourself!!
