Click on Start button Click on Run Type SERVICES.MSC and click ok look
for Print Spooler in the list highlight Print Spooler, Click on
STOP button then click on START close the window and check if the
print queue is gone.
Alternate method,
Click STart Click
RUN Type Cmd ( or COMMAND ) and hit enter In the black window
type NET STOP SPOOLER ( hit enter button ) Type NET START
SPOOLER ( hit enter button )
Repeat the Stop and START Command
4-5 times End the Command with NET START SPOOLER
Open
Printers and faxes folder - Refresh the Window - the printer will show Status ready with 0 document
Is there any blinking of light when the print command given. Any error message at printer display or Computer Screen ?
There is some problem in printing options. Please check and make default setting in the Printer properties. Go to Control Panel --> Select the printer --> Open printer window --> properties --> make them defauls --
During print command check whether the spooling in printer window goes completely or not (if it stop in middle )
Let me know in brief to solve this problem before going to reinstall printer drivers and do not vote till you recieve a good solution for this problem.
Instead of restarting, try this:
1. Start
2. Run
3. Type this in the box: services.msc
4. Hit ENTER
5. Scroll down to PRINT SPOOLER
6. Right-click on it and choose RESTART
This will clear out your print queue without having to restart. Good luck!!
download the newest software from web and install it. if its not helping, check connections, if your printer has a display and menu key, you can print aut configuration and demo sheets, to see that the printer itself works. if not the last option is firmware upgrade.
It will scan butnot respond to the print command
