Question about ASUS Computers & Internet
First,shut down the laptop.
take out the battery and plug the laptop into the ac adapter only (no battery).
turn on the laptop.
If it boots up fine then your battery may be low, or needs charging.
if still no picture, your display may have hardware problem.
if you have a separate computer monitor lying around the house, use the video cable from that monitor and plug it into the laptop video port (usually blue or black in color) - you will see where it fits in, about the width of a quarter and flat looking. Turn the laptop on with that plugged in and see if the monitor gets any picture. give it about 10 seconds. if not, you may need to press a key combination on your laptop (usually the Fn button along with F8 or one of the "F" buttons) that will switch between your your laptop and the LCD monitor.
If it works on the monitor, your laptop LCD is defective.
If still facing same problem then, your laptop has a video card/motherboard hardware problem.
