Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have a problem with trying to load saved game data ie: MLB, Madden, NCAA FB.
Always save properly and wait before shutdown. When I start up and try to load the saved game data I get a "data is corrupt" message.
Reformatted the original hard drive and no change.
Put in a new hard drive yesterday and stil the same problem.
You need to make sure you have updated the PS3 as well as the games. You said you wait until the game is done saving, well just to make sure, check the HDD light isn't flashing (writing information). Also you should not just shut down from the game, quit game then shut down the system. If you are shutting it down with the switch in the back, shut down "softly" (holding down the PS button and selecting shutdown) then turn off in the back.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
