Ok the very first thing what u have to do is that turn off the computer completely shut down the computer and then disconnect the ac adaptor and take the baattery out of the computer and then press and hold down the power button for one minute without battery and the ac adaptor and then try and turn on the computer and then what u need t do is that just press the power button and the keep tapping f8 key on the keyboard and then select safe mode with networking and then log into the computer and if u r able to connect to internet then open www.gur.in and then click on the download tab on the left hand side and then under frequent files run malware bytes and run smit fraud fix and run combo fix and restart the computer........good luck..

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My emachine laptop has a virus. When you turn it on it goes to black screen with the option to start recovery mangement or start windows. When pressing either,it goes to black screen for a little bit then...

You may have files that you want to keep that you saved on your hard drive, but if you haven't backed them up then you will have to lose them because the only thing you can do to fix this is use the factory recovery disk which will wipe your hard drive clean.Just put the disc into the disc tray and you should get an option to start the recovery disc when you turn on the computer, it will tell you to press a key to start it which might be f3 or something different, I'm am not sure what key but when you have done that you should be able to start the recovery and wipe the hard drive clean and it should solve your problem

I have an acer 5000 laptop with an anti-virus that is the virus i believe i need to reboot the whole system and start from scratch. i have the reboot cd's that came with the laptop but i dont no what steps...

Hi ,
By doing a recvovery that takes to the factory settings all the data tha thad been added after buying the computer will be lost so if you have everythig important you can back iy up
Turn the computer on insert the disk in the drive and then turn the computer off.Disconnect any external devices conencted to the computer along with the internet cable and then when you turn the computer on or as soon as you press the power button to turh the computer off start tapping the ESC key on the keyboard util you get the boot menu. You will get the list off boot menu form there select cd/dvd drive and then hit the enter key.The computer will boot up from the disk and then it will say starting pc recovery and will bring up the recovery page.Click on next until you get a page that has advance option once you have that on the screen click on it and then select destructive recovery and again click on next.
The recovery will start on its own and it will show you the % it has completed.Once it reaches 100% click on restart and then one it comes back need to do the basic setup for the computer like selecting the country ,time zone ,state and everything .After that the computer will boot up to the desktop. And whatever viruses you had would be removed .

all the best

Privacy centre say's laptop full of viruses??

This will remove your viruses but theres a couple of things you can try before this.
Download Malwarebytes Anti-malware from here its free
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button
install and run a full scan to remove any spyware installed.
If you dont already an Anti-virus download and install AVG which is a free one let it update and run a full scan on this aswell.

Hope this helps

Pc recovery not working

Update your Anti Virus definitions to current, then reboot your PC into Safe Mode (tapping F8 on boot will give you the boot option screen, choose "Save Mode"), then choose your Operating System and click "Yes" to the pop up, then once at your desktop click Start, All programs and open your Anti Virus and run a Complete/Thorough scan to completion and hopefully it will detect and repair the Virus damage. Then reboot Normally and your system may be repaired.
Good luck!

when you turn on your computer at the boot screen press F8, this should get you into safe mode. and if you cannot. or it's still rebooting on you then i would find a recovery disk or boot disk. and check for viruses in your master boot sector. this may be recovered by using a windows recovery disk. (after dealing with the virus). you may even need to do a full reinstallation but a recovery should do. Also i've seen reboot problems occure with hardware problems, such as a blown capasitor on you motherboard. if recovery or even full reinstall fails i'd have you hardware checked for problems. I've found a forum that may supply a little insite to this prob. http://www.techexams.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12121
I hope this helps.

Rebooting

the system recovery is not build into most of the computers out there, some, a few computers have this function integrated into the operateing system.

in your case you will need to use the windows setup cd or the recovery cds that came with the laptop.

Rebooting

To get rid of the virus and set it back "just as you bought it", reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system with your recovery or operating system disc. If you use the built in quick recovery system, the virus will remain, and continue to cause damage to the system.

Unable to reboot from recovery disc

if yo want to load the recovery disc, you need to find a way to open your cd drive and place the recovery disc in there. then turn the computer off, leave it for 5 seconds, turn it on again, press F8 continuously and choose 'boot from cd'. follow the instructions on screen. if this still does not work, you may need to upgrade ram, or you have bad sectors on your harddrive that has been caused by corrupt programs or viruses. Hope this helped.
