You need to service your system,if you go to and go to dealer locator to find a local service centre it might be costly to repair but find out before you go any further

Will not power up

I have a computer that just went through a slight move and may have been through a few shakes and minor bumps along the way.

The computer will not power up. I can plug it in and once I switch the power supply to on the motherboard light lights up indicating to me that it is recieving power however the switch does nothing. I have unhooked the switch and tried jump starting the computer by using the two ***** wires and a screw driver to see if i could bring it to life but with no success. I have also pulled out the CMOS battery on the motherboard and had no luck after that as well. What should be my next step in diagnosis or what is this indicating?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. The computer is about 2years old excluding the primary hard drive that is probably around 4 years old.

No fans or anything will turn on. The only thing that lights up is the motherboards LED which to me means it shouldnt be the power supply although I'm no expert. PLEASE HELP!!

...Well I have gone over all of the wires and hardware and everything seems to be seated well. I have asked this to other message boards as well and I seem to get two main responses either the motherboard or the PSU need to be replaced, but I have yet to here an explanation why one over the other.

there also does not appear to be any burn marks or anything like that on the motherboard. The only odd thing I noticed was a couple weeks before the move the date and time on the computer were off by a few months days hours and minutes, but everything appeared to have worked fine after. No warnings of any kind in windows xp pro ever. Just stopped working after the move

When i turn on my Panasonic stereo set model number: SA-CH94M the systems just displays F61 them Goodbye and Shuts down. What is the cause of this and how can it be fixed? A quick response will be greatly...

Hi denty56,

F61 is an error code for short and or overload. This will appear once the processor sense a malfunction either on the power supply or on the load (high chance is the output IC). DIY steps are as follow to determine where the fault is : 1. Allow the unit to cool down for an hour. Give proper ventilation and keep away all obstruction from the vent to have a sufficient air flow. 2. Disconnect one at a time the speakers, inputs, from the unit while powering it on.

If the unit back to normal again then you've confirmed that any of the above caused the error code. If #1 is the caused, you have to check also the exhaust fan, clean it as much as possible, replaced if faulty. If #2 is the caused (speaker) check the wire and speakers for short, (input) check the RCA cord for short or replaced if necessary.

If the above simple fix didn't cure the error code, you can try the next steps if you are an electronicsenthusiast. Now after removing the cover, you have to concentrate first on the power supply board. Look for bulged electrolytic capacitor. Leaky capacitor will affect the regulation of the supply and will trigger the error code. Look for dry joints. Check it also in the pre-amplifier stage, main output board where a big heat sink is located. Next disable the output amplifier stage by disconnecting the supply. If the unit come out, make some re-soldering on the board, spot the cold solder and dry joints and then try to connect again. If the error code appear again, high chance that your output IC is faulty but still to be confirmed. Using the disoldering pump and soldering iron pull-out the output IC from the board then try the unit. If the error code disappear, confirmed that your IC is faulty. After trying the abovesteps-by-steps guide and still the symptoms persist this is the time for you to send it to repair shop. Remember that your unit has a lot of parts and only some basic steps have done, leave the expert to troubleshoot the entire unit.

Hope I helped you.

Have a nice day!

Thanks for using Fixya.

Error f61 in panasonic sht540

The abnormalities an output or power supply circuit of POWER AMP.

In normal operation, when DCDET2 goes to "L" (Low) (Not during POWER OFF condition), F61 appears on FL Display and PCONT goes to "L" (Low).

This is due to speaker output has DC voltage or fan is not working.

No LCD Display on Receiver itself

This sounds like you have lost either the 5V or 12V supply. If you can solder, there are a fwe things you can try. Let me know if you wish to do that.

I´ve just applied to my HTS3565D/37 and it worked great. Do not expect it to show anything in the display, though. You open the tray, click the sequence in the remote and... Done!

Pioneer xv-dv424 power problem?

Try disconnecting all the speakers and turn it on. If it stays on, then a speaker (most likely sub) is gone and shorted, causing the system to shut down to prevent it from being damaged. Hooking up one at a time and powering on should help you find the bad one. If it still shuts down with all speakers disconnected, then you've got internal problems with the system itself. Time to visit a repair man.

Hope this helps, and please rate my advice, good OR bad.

Good luck!

I had a similar problem coming from South Africa to Australia and had to change the regional code setting.

Change to multizone format:

1)Ensure no disk in unit
2)Unplug unit from AC supply
3)Plug unit back into ac supply
4)Use remote control for the following commands:
5)Press the power key, the unit will come on
6)Wait until no disk appears on the display
7)Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE;3;1;4;1;5;9
8) "Code" will appear on the display
9)Press 0 (multizone)
10 Press sequentially the keys: PAUSE,POWER
11)The unit will turn off(standby mode), leaving the new regional code programmed. If you do not succeed at the first attempt disconnect the unit and repeat the above steps (1 to 10)

Hop this helps
