Round metal watch style battery on the motherboard about the size of a quarter... walmart would probably have them in the watch dept.

careful removing the battery so you don't break the clip that holds it in.

Remove all components from your mb and bios battery. Place jumper to clear cmos and make short to battery cmos. Leave 1min and after place cpu and one ram in mb. Replace jumper from clear cmos in normal position and verify. If not display, change ram.

Where Can I find a screenshot of the motherboard on my netbook?

http://www.fixya.com/support/t17450538-bios

There it is!

Needed to know WHAT Netbook we're talking about here.....

Problem is the info only brings it down to,.....oh,.........about 7 different Acer Aspire One models, (At 8.9 inches)
That may be a low estimate.

Akin to, "I have a Ford Ranger, and need spark plugs for it."
Question that would come back is, "What engine size is in it?"

So my question is, "What is the Model Number of the Acer Aspire One? It's on the Bottom of the Netbook."
Otherwise you get generic information...........

As asked for;

1) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Aspire-One-ZG5-Motherboard-DA0ZG5MB8F0-Intel-Atom-1-6GHz-SLB73-Processor-/111058162715?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item19db95141b

CMOS Battery is also known as the RTC Battery.
Real Time Clock Battery.
For the above motherboard photo, it is to the upper Left, and near the white long plastic part, above it.

Right below it is a small round Black piezo style of buzzer.
Watch style type of battery, and is either a CR2032, or a smaller style.
Believe it to be on the Top of the motherboard, if memory serves.

2) http://www.ebay.com/itm/ACER-ASPIRE-ONE-A110-NOTEBOOK-MOTHERBOARD-MBS0706001-31ZG5MB0070-DA0ZG5MB8G0-/130895071455?pt=Motherboards&hash=item1e79f448df

Left side/Middle
Usual round watch style battery.

3) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Aspire-one-8-9-A150-Motherboard-DA0ZG5MB8G0-Test-/160422303501?pt=Motherboards&hash=item2559ea170d

In photo, top of motherboard slightly off center to the Right.
Next to what looks like a small black round Piezo style buzzer.

Indication CMOS battery needs to be replaced?
Message, or Time/Date changes?
Replace the CMOS (RTC) Battery.

Trying to circumvent a password, by removing CMOS battery for a short period of time?
Don't think so. Believe there is a Capacitor, or Capacitors; that hold a trickle charge INDEFINITELY.

Suggest use an ESD wrist strap when working inside the netbook.
Otherwise you will Static shock out the delicate hardware components inside the Netbook.

Can you remove cmos Battery from acer aspire 7520

See http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers then select your Acer Aspire 7520 which will then give you access to the User Guide for this laptop.
In the User Guide - under Troubleshooting Tips and Error Messages it says:Error messages Corrective actionCMOS battery bad Contact your dealer or an authorized service center.CMOS checksum error Contact your dealer or an authorized service center.
This suggests that you would need to take your laptop to a dealer or service centre to get the CMOS battery replaced which would be advised if the laptop is still under warranty.
The alternative would be to open any covers on the underside of the case and see if your can see a small button cell type battery that you may be able to get a replacement for. Please note that you should remove the main battery before opening the laptop case and ensure that you ground yourself to avoid damaging any components with static electricity from your clothing etc.

No beeps,no cmos setup, its dead.

Not knowing how old it is, 2 things come to mind; a bad power supply or a bad CMOS battery. A bad CMOS battery would have failed to record the "last good configuration". Check the PS for any power at all ie fan turning, any lights etc

Cmos settings error system hait,

You will need access to another computer and go to: http://www.asus.com/, choose you country, then "Download", the on the next page, "Download" again. Select you "Product, Series and Model". Motherboard, Socket 478, P4P800-SE click "Search". Then choose you operating system. You will get to the page where you can download the latest BIOS, and install program. Read how to upgrade your BIOS and follow the directions carefully.

I suggest you also change the CMOS battery before you upgrade to make sure a dead battery is not the cause for the CMOS corruption.

Bootup Problem of Dell PE6650

Your NVRAM was corrupted (probably by a dead CMOS battery) or your hardware configuration has cnaged (deah boot disk, etc). Enter setup to see if the date/time has reverted to a previous date. If so, the CMOS battery needs to be replaced and the BIOS reconfigured for the server. Otherwise, check to ensure that your disk configuration is correct. If the battery is not dead and your disk configuration is incorrect, you may have a bad hard disk.

Sometimes this problem happens when your CMOS battery already dead. Replace the CMOS battery and run F4 to setup the date and time. Save it and you back to business.
