replace glo bar ;if you see the glo bar coming on then your vent to the outside may be clogged, clean that whole hose or pipe

Oven will not light. the glow element comes on but the burners will not ignite to heat the oven

You could have a weak glo bar, that is common or the main oven gas valve could be bad.You have to trouble shoot and find out which it is.If you happen to have a seperate broiler in that range that has a separate glo bar you can use it in the lower oven to see if it will open the gas valve.Hope this helps.

I have a dyna-glo model rmc-40lpt, the pilot light is hard to light up, most of the timr I must use a match to light it....after its lit , the burner bar will fire up just fine , high or low but the flame...

are you saying it lights back to the orfice ?? if so i would say the pilot needs cleaning out a long with the burner which could be blocked with dirt or fluff and at the airports to the burner , and the ignition could need cleaning ,

Hi,
My bet is that the broiler ignitor has been out for a while and you just never knew it...
I would change the ignitor as a first try to fix it it is themost common failure..

My dryer will not heat up either. On any setting. I looked through the peep hole in the front and i do not see anything glowing. What do I need to do? please help

It is either the glo bar or your coil pack... If the glo bar is not white hot then it needs to be replaced. if it does turn white hot then it is the coil pack that quit working. You can usually take off one of the covers at the bottom of the dryer to see this.
