SOURCE: Monitor diplays E1 and won't stop beeping

Fitness Quest Eclipse 1175e Elliptical Trainers were recalled on December 11, 2007 for a fall hazard. During exercise, the foot pedal crank can break. After receiving 190 reports of the crank breaking, the company is offering a replacement product or credit toward other Fitness Quest products. If the pedal falls off, be sure to save it; you will need the right foot platform to claim the replacement or credit.
Owners should stop using the elliptical trainer immediately. Owners can receive a replacement with another Fitness Quest product or credit.

SOURCE: the program monitor on my eclipse 1100hr/a

After about 4 years, one day my monitor just wouldn't turn on. After making sure the batteries were new, I took out the four screws on the back of the monitor and made sure the two wire connections were tight. They were, so I called Fitness Quest customer service (1-800-321-9236) from their website (fitnessquest.com). For about $120 including shipping they sent me a new monitor. It took me about a minute to undo the old, plug in the new, and now it works great! The flat connection with the multi-colored wires requires a gentle squeeze with a pliers on the sides while you glently wiggle and pull it apart. Look at the new connector to see how it should come apart. Good luck!

It doesn't come with one. Maybe some accessory as that proved available: A search for sears and repair parts may pop up with something. Sears has many key parts and accessories for exercise equipment (and, many other items)--that may be a possibility. Sears is proud of offering parts. I'd rig something up, given you can't find anything--probably something intended for cars. It shouldn't prove too hard. Use the screw and hole intended for the water bottle, velcro, or a clamp. Use one of the screws for the top tube (with the heart monitors), if necessary. Carefully drill into the main post or top post, if necessary--make certain to avoid wiring, though.

My eclipse 1100 hour monitor is not working (already replaced batteries and still nothing)

Check it out. If you machine monitor shows and e-1 when trying to turn on. Take out the batteries and unscrew the four screws on the bottom of the monitor unplug it from the elliptical. Put the batteries back in turn on monitor the plug it back to the elliptical while still on and screw back in places. It worked for me hope it works for you too.
