Question about D-Link RangeBooster G WBR-2310 Wireless Router (WBR2310)

1 Answer

WBR2310 messes up my Wireless card...

So I recently installed the D-Link WBR-2310 router, and everything
seemed to be fine. However, after about 3 days, we started noticing
something...

- All 6 of our laptops seem to be dropping the connection every once
in a while.
- The network status shows that the signal is "Excellent" but I cannot
access the router's main page.
- It can be resolve by simply resetting the wireless card.

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is here. I've played
around with the router's settings, factory default, but the issue
still stands...

Hi my d-link 2310 wbr you can see it's working but no signal for the wireless

There are Old computers cant conect to the higher frequencies of the new routers so if you have tested the router on a newer computer and its working i suggest you either:

1. connect by cable.
2. buy a new network card.
3. buy a new computer.

(Also the antenna can be lose or be broken just screw it lose and check.)

I recently bought a D-Link WBR=2310 Rangebooster wireless router. The installation disk is only for Windows. I'm using a Macbook. Is there software for Apple? If not how do I set it up?

You can set up the router without the CD also.
If you connect the computer to the modem it works, right ?
Now you can connect the computer to the router and the modem to the rotuer . Access the router set up and set up the router.

At the back of the router is a tiny pinhole. Using a pen try to press it for 15 secs and try to access the page using the 192.168.0.1
