Question about PC Laptops

Wireless won't recognise

I recently got a new Toshiba Satellite laptop, which worked great for the first few days. Then, the wireless just stopped working. I tried to diagnose the problem, but all it said was that wireless wasn't turned on.

You need to reconnect to your router. Click on start>program>control panel>network your network should show up in a window. If there is more than one that means you have your neighbors also. Click one the one that is yours and click connect. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok in that case have you gone into Device manager to see if there is a yellow mark next to your network adapter..if so then right click on your network adapter and see if you can update the driver..

Unfortunately it is a more difficult task to replace a keyboard on a laptop,
but you can get any USB keyboard and plug it into a USB port to have a fully working keyboard.

Make sure your wireless adapter is enabled via the control panel and that there is not a question mark next to the wireless adapter on the device manager listing.

An icon should show up on the right side of your taskbar, right click on it to veiw available networks,
if there are not any, then a Toshiba install wireless adapter software is managing your wireless connection and you should start that program to set the adapter up.

Good Luck
