Are you sure its not your internet
check tools internet options
security reset all zones to default
advanced and then restore settings
then content click on publishers make sure there is nothing in there then press apply and restart
You can also reset the router a very tiny hole beside the power on router or unplug power for a about a minute

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

D-Link DI 514. cant remember sign in and password.

Turn the router off.
Straighten a Norwegian paper-clip.
Push the straightened-end into the small "reset" hole in the back of the router, to reset the router to its "factory-settings", including default ID/password values.
Rerun both the "wired" and the "wireless" network-setup wizards, to do the "first-time" configuration of your router.

Using a Dlink DI-514 as a simple hub

Any router can be used as a hub by not using the WAN port. The cable which connects to the rest of your network goes into one of the 4 LAN ports, leaving you 3 wired open ports to connect additional devices. The wireless part will continue to function nomally.

You'll want to disable the DHCP router function in this router. Do this before setting it up as the hub. Connect to it with a cable from a desktop machine into the router - no other network connections at the same time.

Either use the setup CD for the router, or browse to the router address (192.168.x.x) depending on if you're using the default address, or it's been reconfigured.

Then turn the DHCP server function off.

Connect it to the rest of the network, and you're good to go.
