Question about Bosch WTE86300 Electric Dryer

How to access fan wheel on bosch WTE86300US dryer for cleaning

I have a Bosch Axxis non-vented dryer and clean the filter and lint trap regularly. I think that lint has accumulated on the fan wheel and would like to clean it. I suspect there is a way to pop off the cover (the vented panel just to the right of the filter door), but I'm not sure how to do it and don't want to break any of the plastic parts. I have found that there are several parts that should be regularly cleaned that are not mentioned in the maintenance section of the owner's manual.

SOURCE: bosch axxis WTL lint indicator problem.

I have been struggling with this lint filter problem big-time. After reading the previous user's comment that his mesh holes had become clogged, I took a closer look at my filter and noticed that the tiny holes in the mesh were, indeed, clogged up. In fact, when I initially ran water on the filter it pooled up on the mesh like a solid plate...pretty good sign that air wasn't able to pass through the filter properly.

I used a soft toothbrush and soap to clean the filter, and when I ran water to rinse it off it the water passed right through the mesh. I popped it back in and, voila...That fixed it!!

the thermostats at the element have to be replaced, they burn out prematurely if the condensor unit is not cleaned on a regular basis.

Sounds like something's blocking the hot damp air being removed from the drier. If you are confident enough, go through the drier vent system looking for a blockage. If not get a good DIY neighbour or appliance engineer. Silly question, is the drum turning?

Hi! We have a Bosch Axxis gas dryer that runs for aprox 40 seconds than stops and "Beeps" and the "Drying" & Wrinkle Block/End" lights flash. I have tried running it empty...

your sensor is either dirty, most likely or bad. it is located under the lint trap. if you look down you will see it it has tow screws, be careful when cleaning it as it may break.

Bosch WTL5400 Condensation Dryer

We continuously had a similar problem with signals forever coming on after just a few dryer loads. The problem was corrected when we took the back off of the dryer and cleaned the recirculating fan and removed a rubber glove that somehow came through the system and blocked the air flow at the heating element. Low air flow is the same as plugged filter and apparently the computer in our German-made Bosch dryer simply says that. We cleaned the area well, removed all traces of the glove and restored the dryer to operation. We have not had the filter problem since. We routinely clean the heater area at the back of the dryer to maintain our sanity. And we now dry our clothes. Bosch never responded to my query.
