If you personally guarantee and confirm that ALL programs are closed and there are no file transfers between the Sansa Fuze and the PC, you can simply unplug the mp3 player.

Please tell me what I need to do to record videos on my sansa fux + 4 GB

The Sansa Fuze is not a camera, it does not record videos. It can play videos from another source, but you have to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert them to a format the Sansa can play. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from

My sansa won't come up any where on my computer once disconected

You need to reformat the device

Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

Try going to the actual file the music is in on your computer, then right click Send To sansa 250. If that doesn't work look on the options menu for USB mode and change it, that works on my 280.
