Try p2ktools or google for other programs. it may also help if u pay modmymoto.com a visit, they should have all the programs available other than saving your contacts or syncing like skinning progs to theme your moto or save ringtones of photos to your pc.

i hope this helps you.

Can you retrieve deleted text messages from a Verizon motorolla v750

    • 1 Use free retrieval programs, which are available for download on websites such as File Guru (see Resources). These types of websites allow users to download the free software, which can be used to restore lost data from SIM cards.
Retrieval programs can recover all types of data, including text messages, recent calls, phone numbers and more. As long as your Motorola phone is equipped with a SIM card this is a great solution; although not all Motorola models will have a SIM card.
    • 2 Contact Motorola directly. The customer service representative might be able to walk you through a step-by-step process to restore deleted phone data. Depending on the specific model of your phone, this ability may not be available, but it is always wise to try.
    • 3 Sync your Motorola phone with your computer. Many smartphones, including models such as the Motorola Q and Motorola Droid, have the ability to be connected to your computer for backup purposes. In this instance, you can also use a sync the phone to restore the memory. Each time you sync, or connect, your phone to the computer it will save everything from pictures, to contacts, to music and text messages.
If your phone's memory has been deleted, connect the phone to the computer, using the provided USB cable, and download the information that was last backed up. If you have added data since your last sync, that data will not be available. For example, if you performed a sync two weeks ago, anything added since then will not be downloaded back to your phone.
    • 4 Access your account through the cellular provider's website, if you subscribe to a backup service. Backup services, such as Verizon Wireless' "Backup Assistant", automatically saves a copy of your phone's contacts and allows users to print, add, delete, or edit contacts online, according to Verizon Wireless (see Resources).
Services like this usually charge a small fee, but it's well worth it for the ability to access your contacts from anywhere, anytime. Although this won't recover all of your Motorola phone's memory, you will at least be able to restore your contact information.

I have motorola v3 and the screen went bad .want to retieve my stored numbers . thank you

Numbers are either stored in the sim card or in the phone memory, if you need to restore them from the phone memory, you need to take it to someone, as you can't do it yourself since you can't see the screen.

Problem

I have discovered that some of the usb cables that connect to your phone and your computer do not all work. At one time I had to try 3 different cables before finding one that worked on my phone and computer.
I also learned that if I could not get my computer to acknowledge that the USB was being used by my cell phone I would shut down my computer and then try a different USB port. Sometimes it made a difference.
I have heard that when you first use a program with a specific USB port it is best to always use the same USB port if you can remember which one you used in the first time for that program.
As for losing your CD. I am figuring that this is the CD for Motorola Tools??? If it is you can do a search online for Motorola Tools Free Download... I hope I have helped.

Screen Badly damaged

The easy way is through a USB cable attached to a computer running Motorola Phone Tools (MPT), while MPT isn't free, there is a shareware version HERE that might work for what you need. Also depending on what service you have, your carrier might be able to do a "Backup" of your contacts via remote transfer, which could work well when you can't see your screen.

Another, free option is BitPim (scroll down to find it) , which is a bit different to use, but still very easy for copying contact information to your computer. I'd try this first because it is free and almost as easy as MPT. You might have some trouble connecting to your phone if you have a Verizon phone, but you should be able to quite easily retrieve the data.

Replacing the screens isn't too difficult and could save you $ if you can find a good screen on eBay. Or you could get yourself a new phone!!
