Question about HP Pavilion ZE5730 Notebook

1 Answer

Need sound on my NoteBook ! ?

Philips freevents X50 (Model: F12DT)

My problem is, I was clearing out (deleting) some old 1995 files to make some more space on the C:/ drive.

However, I believe I may have deleted my systems Multimedia Audio Controller drivers, as

I now hear no sound from my DVD player, Realplayer, Windows media player.

Also the very useful volume Icon at the bottom of the toolbar in desktop has disappeared. (I would love to have the Icon back, plus all my other problems solved too.

I have tried for some free downloads as I am a student, however, when it comes to the final, they then ask for bank details. I haven't traded over the internet.

Maybe I might have to just go and buy the software Drivers package from somewhere like PC World.

Thanks for any help

Thank you for offering your solution.

Yesterday a 'lady' answered my problem with the same answer as yours, and, low and behold: ..... Absolute problem fixed, .. even down to the applet volume Icon coming back onto the bottom task bar.

    Best wishes. Thank you.

This sure is a good site.

If you have only done this recently, have you tried restoring your laptop to a date prior to losing the drivers. It does mean that any other changes you have made will also be restored so any updates will have to be done again.
