I have the exact same problem. I don't remember dropping it but it's a possibility. I called around and the camera stores (Ritz- I don't know if you've ever heard of them) told me they wouldn't even look at the Casio Z-6o because of how small it is. Please let me know if you've found a solution. Anything would help as mine is collecting dust right now.

I have the same problem, i think i dropped my camera on grass, and now all my pictures come out a bit blurry & with green & pink-ish lines.

    Can this be fixed ?

I have the same problem. Except I spilled water on mine. When I go outside it becomes really funky where the picture come out almost white. Like everything looks like you used a lot of photoshopping. It's weird, because in the dark or dim lite room the pictures come out wonderfuly....hmmm

I would try resetting the camera. Worth a shot. In REC mode press menu go to setup tab go up to reset press right arrow & highlight reset press set. If that doesn't work you might have to send it in.

When i capture a pic in day light than picture will come faded and when i capture in night it comes nice one my camera model is exilim ex z60

make sure the camera's settings are set to normal, since, the lens might be sensitive to daylight. You can actually change this at the settings, and, you said that it works fine at night or at dark areas? Yeah, the lens could be sensitive to bright lights! Simply adjust the sensitivity and you're all set!

Casio EX-Z60 camera - photos are whitened or brightened

If you enlarge the picture you have just taken, is there same lines running accross the picture?

If so, the shutter magnets are causing interferance and causing the picture to overexpose and have tiny lines running through it.

In Australia the complete lens will need to be replaced as the shutter does not come seperate and this is very expensive.

Sorry for the bad news.

Turn the camera on. Press shutter button half way down to focus and then all way down to take pictures.

Lens error

This is the lens focus gears. They are either knocked out of alignment, or debris has jammed them. The good news is it can be fixed....Casio most likely won't help. my user name.

Casio wont take pictures

That lens error msg means that you need to send it in. There is no resetting that you can do to fix that. Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. Tell them what's going on and that you would like to send it in for repairs. If they ask just lie and tell them you already talked to tech support. LOL
