Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook

Aspire 5315 webcam works on computor screen but when im using msn it wont send.there shows no webcam the computors in french but i can translate please help

After you start Windows Live Messenger,
expand the view by clicking on the square
on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the
right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click
on “Show the Menu Bar”.
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on Action.
Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting
and follow the instructions.

Computor can't find the crystal eye web; file appears in the programme list


Go to Start>Programs>Acer>Acer Recovery Management.
Click on Restore.
Go to Reinstall Application/Drivers and select Contents.
Now Install the webcam drivers from the list and restart the computer.

Keep me posted abt the result...

Webcam doesnt work


Hey you know what !...its not problems with your cam or OS but its problem with MSN. Please use updated or NEW VERSION of MSN and then you will be able to use all features of your webcam while chatting on MSN or Yahoo!

Need to re-connect to linksys


connect to your linksys using ethernet cable try configuring your modem/router again. if this does not solve your problem reinstall your wireless driver in your computer.

yeah sure it is made for that purpose for video conf and picture taking just go to start>all programs>Acer Crystal Eye folder u will find the icon there just make a shortcut from there to ur desktop if u dont find it there then just go to "C:\Windows\Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe"

otherwise ur webcam utility is not installed just download the utility from

ftp://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_5315/vista/Drivers/

You must go into Tools then choose Options then under options choose video settings under which there is a drag down box with connected video cameras. Your camera should be there. If not make sure to install the correct drivers. Hope I Helped!

It will work with another app like msn messenger. go to tools and set up web cam. Hope this helps, please vote "fix Ya"
