Remove the grinder tray, remove the grinder top and clean out the burrs.
lift the command unit. close and remove the bean hopper. Press in the two thumb tabs either side of the grinder tray and pull the tray forward. If it's not been removed for a while it could be very tight. Push the tray in first then pull.
with the grinder tray removed, take out the white plastic ring that the hopper sits on. Unscrew the two Philips head screws in the top section of the grinder. Remove the screws and rotate the top section anti clockwise whilst lifting off. You should now have access the the grinder burrs. Carefully clean every part of the teeth burrs with a stiff brush or small screwdriver.
turn the tray over and examine the bottom end of the shaft which passes through the grinder. The centre is usually rubber and this can become detached with age. If the rubber is shot you will need to replace the pulley shaft. Check to the tension of the belt From the motor to the pulley shaft
Once everything is clean and clear, reverse the process to reassemble the machine.
you should find it now grinds ok

The grinder is jammed... how do I dismantle machine to unclog the grinder?

Unsure how dismantle the whole grinder but there are two screws holding in a round part in the beans container, undo these two make sure you dont drop a screw inside, then lift of the plastic round cover and see if you can see what has jammed it, if you see nothing keep fingers back turn on machine and then try with no beans see if it spins

Continue to get beeping after taking out basket, emptying water, re-inserting basket and making certain lid is clicked shut. Thoughts?

All the parts have to be in place, including both the removable grinder unit and its clear cover, even if you're using pre-ground coffee.

It also requires that both the top lid and the front "door" (to the basket area) are clicked shut, and that the basket and its cover are both in place.

One thing to check carefully is the clear cover to the grinder unit. There's a rubber-like "nub" that seems to actually control the switch, which tells the machine that the grinder unit is properly installed. If that rubber-like nub is missing (and unfortunately it IS possible to remove it, particularly during cleaning) ... that could be causing your problem. If you see a hole in the top of that clear cover... you're missing that "nub".

The plastic top of the glass pot on two coffee makers drip.

This is a design flaw and can be corrected by enlarging the lid spout. First remove the plastic lid. Then use a fine grinder or sandpaper to remove approximately 1/8 inch of plastic from the lid spout. Follow the exact same contour of the oval spout. However, do not take off so much material that you disturb the small plastic tabs that hold the lid to the pot. Finish by slightly rounding the edges where the material was removed with fine sandpaper. No leaks - no drips.

My cuisninart won't stop beeping, but every part seems to be in place how can I fix the problem?

On the Grind and Brew coffee maker the beeping is typically caused by the grinder safety interlock. There is a small pin on the clear grinder cover that needs to be in place so that it is depressed into the safety switch when the cover is closed. The interlock switch prevents the grinder from working when the cover is open. Check to be sure that the pin in the grinder cover is not broken. If you open the cover after you have started the auto-brew, it will beep but you can stop the sound by using a pen to gently depress the switch inside the small plastic post.

Cannot get "beeping" to stop

Try the following if you opened the cover and unit beeps. This will happen if you set up the coffee maker and then decide that you want to add more water and coffee before starting it:

You will notice that there is a small white (typically) button on the clear cover of the coffee grinder. When it is in place and the lid is closed, the button depresses a safety interlock inside a small plastic post to prevent the grinder from working without the clear cover on and the lid closed. Quite sensible from a safety perspective. Depress the white button to reset the switch or take a pen and carefully do the same. The beeping should stop.

The beep indicates numerous things. If the top lid is open, it will beep, if you try to depress the brew or timer buttons. There is a button next to the grinder unit, that gets depressed when you close the lid. Check the lid to make sure the tab on the lid hasn't broken. The beep also indicates that brew cycle has finished, although, that is supposed to be only 5 beeps.
