Try contacting the magazine's website to see if there is an online cancellation feature. If you never ordered them, they will never send you a bill because they don't have an order form from you. Maybe a friend did it as a gift. If you do get a bill, then you can dispute it. Contact information will be on the bill. I have a prepaid subscription to Esquire for 14 years worth of magazines and have no idea how that happened. I checked on their website. That's how I found out it was prepaid.
Visit the Netflix home page and sign in. Go to the "Your Account" tab, which can be accessed via a drop-down menu to the right of the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your home screen. Once on the "Your Account" page, you'll see a button that says "Cancel Membership" directly under "Membership and Billing," the first heading on the page. Click this button and follow the instructions to cancel your membership.
Implications of Canceling Your Membership
Even if you cancel your membership, you'll still be able to stream movies and television shows until your current billing period elapses. In addition, Netflix keeps your streaming account on file for a year after you have canceled your membership. This means you can cancel your membership for a couple of months and then go right back to it by renewing it and resuming payments, with all of your previous viewing history and preferences still available.

Many do not allow cancellation as they provided the content and processed the transaction. You can call the company and plead with them to refund it but they may not be willing to help. A friend just got hit with well over $100 because their son ordered Sponge Bob without permission. Gotta keep the kids out of the technology if it has purchase and billing capabilities, they can be dangerous! :)
Depending on the business this might be rough. I'd contact them and ask to cancel if you have not done so...
I had a similar circumstance with my digital radio subscription account which might give you some ideas. I called several times and told them I no longer wanted to continue my yearly subscription. The gal at their "Customer Service" would not hear of it then offered steep discounts. I told her to cancel at least three times but they still billed me for a year.
I checked on line and found the DA for Manhattan where they were based had 3,000+ complaints aginst them for this so I filed a complaint with the district attorney's office on line at 2AM. I was then promptly contacted by digital radio CORPORATE CUSTOMER service rather than just customer service - Corporate was in DC.
They apologized and promptly refunded our money. I was still bombarded with emails and offers from them until I sold off all three of our digital radio receivers then they stopped. We bought an Internet Radio Tuner with 16,000 channels and no longer needed them.
If you put this on your credit card call your bank and stop them from billing you or they will keep doing so. Check for their corporate customer service rather than customer service. Go to your state's consumer affairs office and ask for their help if they keep sending/billing you or possibly your local district attorney or state's prosecutor to make a report and seek local help.
From the Mathway web site:

Instructions 1 Pay off your phone bill. Some cell phone companies allow your phone to only reach emergency services if you have oustanding charges. Pay your cell phone bill, or add money to your prepaid account, to prevent your phone from just making emergency calls.
2 Cancel your emergency plan. Cell phone companies provide this feature free, especially to those who are 50 years or older. If you do not need the plan, then cancel it to prevent making accidental emergency calls.
3 Stay within your roaming area. If you travel out of your area, some cell phones and providers (e.g., BlackBerry, iPhone and AT&T) will only allow you to make emergency, or 911, calls.
4 Click "OK" and "Contacts." Navigate to "Emergency Contacts," or a selection with similar wording. Select "Disable." This prevents you from making accidental calls to 911.
