"you are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted". My choices are:
Continue
Close connection
View certificate
Trust certificate
When I click continue, close, or view certificate, the message repeats itself. When I click "trust" it asks for my "key store password" of which I am ignorant.
This has just started and is relentless in its repeatability, even when I am texting, calling, or emailing.
Just got off the phone with Sprint support... who answered my call in about 10 seconds(wow). Apparently RIM sent out "bad service books" a few weeks ago, so you need to delete two of them, and then reconnect the host routing table. I have no idea what any of this means, but follow these steps:
OPTIONS/ ADVANCED OPTIONS
CHOOSE SERVICE BOOK
FIND: "NEXTEL MMS TRANSPORT" RIGHT CLICK ON THE MENU BUTTON AND DELETE
FIND: "MMS CLIENT" RIGHT CLICK ON THE MENU BUTTON AND DELETE
HIT BACK BUTTON
CHOOSE "HOST ROUTING TABLE"
HIT MENU KEY, SELECT "REGISTER NOW"
It's supposed to take 20 minutes, but it apparently works. Enjoy!
it depends on the program.... facebook had a serious problem with that. i believe the message should also tell you what program is attempting to open a connection.
