It should be marked Line 1, Line 2, and ground or neutral. If it's ground, it may be the little ground graphic.

The US National Electrical Code only mandates white (or grey) for the neutral power conductor and bare copper, green, or green with yellow stripes for the protective ground. Power will generally be black or red. 3 phase power will have three colored lines, the first is generally black or brown, the second red or orange, and the third blue or yellow..
i,e,
Yellow/Green is Earth so 'E'. Brown is live so 'L', and Blue is neutral so 'N'.

Need to know if my cooker is a bayonet fitting

the bayonet fitting is on the end of the gas pipe that plugs into the gas main. look at the back of your cooker follow the black pipe you will see a brass end that fit to the solid gas pipe if you have a ring on the end of you flexible pipe that you can push in slightly and turn to disconnect you have a bayonet. its not the cooker that is a bayonet but the flexy pipe that is connected to your cooker. you can add one if one not fitted

Hardwiring in cooker

6mm is the norm for wiring in the majority of electric ovens, you could fit 10mm, but it is is not really needed, unless you want to do it that way.
