SOURCE: I bought a msi 790gx-g65 mobo and an amd phenom ii

Yes it will, but you'll need to update the bios to the latest one in order to be sure the processor is recognized. The 790 chipset will make that board an excellent performer with the Phenom 940. Give it as much dual channel ram as you can afford, up to the max of 4 gig for a 32 bit O/S or 64 gig for a 64 bit system.

SOURCE: I have an Acer Aspire M5100 with a Acer F690GVM

AM3 Processors are, as you state, backwards compatible with AM2 Sockets. However, this is based on a BIOS update and may not be the case in all motherboards. I would recommend checking with ACER directly, as to weather they have relased an update for this bios to support this function. I have done a search but turned up nothing, but they may not have released it yet. My initial thought was that this seems to be a problem with these OEM boards.

Is the Am3+ socket also possible for sapphire AM3RS890G2?

am3+ socket is what the socket is listed on the motherboard, so if you have a CPU that fits only AM3+, the CPU wont fit it unless directed by the CPU manufacture seeing that AM3+ is for AMD processors only if you have a older AM3 CPU it might fit the AM3+ motherboard if listed, this paticular model only lists AM3 and fits Sempron, Phenom II X3, Athlon II X2, Phenom II X2, Athlon II X4, Athlon II X3, Phenom II X4, Phenom II X6

Does Foxconn 6100M2MA-RS2H Motherboard BIOS support AMD Phenom 64 X4 procesor ?

I'm afraid not. Foxconn 6100M2MA-RS2H has an AM2 Socket that only supports the following processors: AMD Sempron, Athlon 64,Athlon 64x2,Athlon 64FX. Phenom processors support AM2+ and AM3 socket motherboards. Hope this helps. Any vote will be appreciated. Thank you :)

Can i replace my processor on my pavilion a1310n with a AMD Phenom 8750 i have an AMD Atholon 64 processor at the moment

Click here to view the specifications of the AMD phenom 8750. Your Athlon 64 CPU is for socket AM2, The Socket supported by the 8750 is socket AM2+ or AM3. Now this all depends on your mainboard. Find the specifications on either your manual for your mainboard or it is written on the socket itself, by removing the CPU cooler. You may also search for it on the net. If your mainboard is socket AM2/AM2+ then it will support it. However if is is just AM2 then it may fit but it might not work as it might not able to recognize the CPU.

Sir, My motherboard model K9A2VM-FV2 Ineed to

it's for AM2+ that means, any AMD proc socket AM2 or AM3 would do. such as: Athlon 64, Athlon X2, Athlon II, Phenom and Phenom II. but use only 65 watt proc or less, any higher maybe won't compatible.
it has integrated video. no need video card, but if you insist (especially for gaming) use any good PCIE video card

Hello again, Upgrading CPU's

Your board supports socket AM2 CPUs the fastest of which is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ dual-core processor at 3.1 GHz.

Your motherboard does not accept socket AM3 CPUs.
