SUBSIDY CODE MOTOROLA V3 TRANSFERRING FROM OPTUS TO TELSTRA
How do I obtain a subsidy code for my motorola V3-am transferring from Optus to Telstra and current Telstra sim asks for a subsidy no. Both T and O have been feuding over who provides the subsidy code. Meanwhile 20+ days and my mobile will not work on either O or T. T sim says contact provider then changes to insert subsidy no. Optus sim allows me to insert old password to access address book etc but won't make calls-says number unregistered.

Subsidy code is nothing but the unlock code only.......... Get the subsidy code for your motorola v3 razor model mobile from this site Prounlocking.com , here it gives the easy methods to get the mobile unlocked...........
Your current wireless provider should be able to help. If they don't have it they could contact tmobile to get the code. There are some websites that have the subsidy unlock codes but they charge. That would be another option.
It depends on which carrier the prepaid was with.
if The original prepaid and your wifes plan are both with the same carrier then it should be no problem just swap the sim over.
eg ( telstra to telstra ) or Optus To optus.
If the v3 is an Optus predaid and your wifes sim is a telsra plan then it wont accept the sim as the carriers lock the prepaid phones to their network
