At the front of the magazine there is a pin that is at about a 45 degree angle. Push this pin down until you can use it to turn the magazine tube about 90 degrees. You can slide the magazine tube out toward the muzzle. Then you need to unlatch the action slide bar and pull it clear of the action. Then you grasp the barrel and magazine tube as a unit and rotate them 90 degrees and then you should be able to remove them from the action. hope this helps...

rtest the buttstock on your thgih, hold on to the barrel tightly and then strike the side of the fore-end in a downward direction with the edge of your hand and it will unlock and come off. You have to rap it pretty hard to do this. Hope this helps you, Jeepfxr

Due to records being patchy the n prefix is post 1968
Serial numbers started at 100000 in 1980 750000 had been made , just over 1250000 were made by 1992 so 1985-86 is the year of your gun approx
