How to fix a belt on zanussi tumble dryer model number zdc 46130s

My belt has snapped on my tumble just brought a new one but not sure how to fix it on
can you offer any advice

There are two wheels, one on the motor and one on the tensioner...

See if it is overloaded or the clothes are excessively wet... Take out 1/2 the clothes and try again.

it is the drum gasket that goes round the inner drum that forms a seal and acts as a buffer for the drum to ride on if not replaiced the dryer will get noisy and wear the drum out they are stuck on with a glue

take back cover off ... place new belt bottom first then roll it round tub... WATCH YOUR FINGERS.....if no cover on rear undo two screws on lid (rear).....do as stated above but its harder.07779933829 uk

remove back cover off dryer, put belt around drum and drive motor, pull spring loaded pulley back, as it will be resting on drum, feed belt around pulley. and reassemble back cover.

Zanussi TC470 Tumble Dryer - Drum not rotating


Both sound like the drive belt to me - I've just replaced mine.
BirdG is probably snapped.
mildew is on the way - the motor will burn through it if left unfixed.
you may be able to tighten it and get more time out of it but sounds like it has a worn patch and will go soon.
(tightening is easy- just remove the fan belt cover at the back,slacken the large bolt below the motor and rotate the motor to push the jockey wheel harder against the belt, then retighten the bolt.
replacing is harder.
