You will need to replace the "burner control valve" on the unit. Here is the part to order.

Loss of gas pressure to burners on Jenn-air Model #720-0062-LP

If you're confident that you have adequate gas in the tank. turn the tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. Once connected, open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to it's highest setting. Does the flame height look correct? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Do all the flame heights now look correct? If so, you solved the problem. Remember to always open the tank valve very, very slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem, you are either low on gas or the hose/regulator assembly needs to be replaced. If replacement is necessary, you can find the hose/regulator assembly at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Take your old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you solve the problem. Happy Grilling!!

Jenn air downdraft cooktop. We had a new Jenn Air

Hi,

This is normal, Jenn Air along with many manufactures use one ignition module for all the burners. So when you turn one knob on all the ignitors on top will spark but gas will only flow to the burner with the knob on.

Here is a copy paste from a Jenn Air Owners Manual, I do not have your model number so I cannot be sure this is the exact phrase in your book.

I hope this helps!

To Set:
1. Push in and turn knob counterclockwise to light the burner.
All surface burners will click. Only the burner that has been
turned on will produce a flame.
2. Turn knob to anywhere between HIGH and LOW. Use the
following chart as a guide when setting heat levels.

Top burners spark intermittently with burner valves shutoff

Remove the burner caps (where the gas and flame come out) and wash in warm soapy water, using a plastic toothbrush like brush to scrub thoroughly.

Also clean/scrub the burner bases and ignition knob on the top of the cooktop.

When you reassemble, make sure the burner caps are properly seated in the burner bases.
