hey you should not provide your confidential personal information here. It's not secure even here, many people are peeping what we are doing here and there, we need to be alert and be careful with the account information. It's best to contact the pay pal customer care. otherwise, there's no solution, since the website is run by them and all the entries or inputs are processed by them. Good luck. hope you'll not continue this kind of practice next time. Otherwise those rascals will not spare you.

Hi, I have this purchase on my credit card ECOLENATION 4029357733 for an amount of 195$ on the 9th of february 2015, I can't remember this purchase, can you help me please?

What item did you buy online at that date, and then use your PayPal ID to pay for the item? Since you did not have enough "credit-balance" on your PayPal account, PayPal charged your credit-card for the difference, e.g., $200 item, with $5 available on your PayPal account, means that $195 will be charged to your credit-card.

I keep trying to use my paypal account and message says to return to merchant. Why is it not taking my charges?

First, we'll assume that the vendor/merchant accepts PayPal. Then, we'll assume you have your orders in their (online) shopping cart. And then, we'll assume you're ready to check out, and you select the Checkout with PayPal option (instead of just the Merchant's Checkout). Then, on the next screen, you're asked to sign into PayPal. And, we'll assume you've done it successfully. The screen should show you the items in your shopping cart and amount payable. You will be asked to confirm the purchase and payment (options), shipping, etc. to your PayPal address. Assuming you have funds in your PayPal account and/or a valid credit card (or bank account) registered against your PayPal account, the transaction should be completed, and you'll get an order confirmation screen displayed (and also an email to your PayPal email address to confirm order received, and another email to confirm the amount you'd paid to that vendor/merchant).

If your PayPal account is not in good standing, your login and/or your "submit" order (step) will be unsuccessful.

Can you let me know if / where (in this typical process) you got into problems ? and was asked to return to the merchant ?

I have not been payed the total amount of $277.50 and I am not sure why .I have paid my account,The items wer sold on the 14/5/11.

PayPal will charge a fee on transactions. If you go into your account and click "details" on the payment you received, it should provide more details. Subtract the PayPal fee from the total amount of $277.50 and you should see this amount credited to you.

If the buyer did not send you the full amount you will need to reach out to them.

Feel free to comment back if you have further questions.

I'm from the Philippines and I always want to buy online but the problem is i don't have a Credit Card and Debit Card. The only thing that i have is Bank Account. So i can use PayPal? How?

Hi there,
Paypal uses funds that are added to your Paypal account or withdrawn from your bank account/credit card/debit card.
If the only thing you have is a Filipino bank account (BDO, RCBC etc ) you can withdraw funds from the bank account to your Paypal account.
To do so, you must first add your bank account to your Paypal account by going to Paypal, where it says My Account > Profile > Add or Edit Bank Account.
Here you enter your banking details as required, Paypal will make sure that it is your account by depositing a small amount of money to your account (takes 3-5 days) and then asking you to verify that amount before the bank account is confirmed and linked to your Paypal account.
After you've linked your bank account to your Paypal account you can then withdraw funds to it by going to My Profile > Add Funds. This process also takes 3-5 days to complete.
The funds withdrawn to your Paypal account from your bank account will now allow you to make instant payments with funds direct from your Paypal account.
Alternatively if you make a payment for anything you buy online and wish to pay with your Paypal account and don't have any funds, Paypal will deduct the funds from your linked bank account. The process usually takes 3-5 days to complete.
Hope I have been of assistance to you, Cheers ! :)

Can i use my bank account number for paypal send or recieve money from abroad....i hve an atm which is linked with visa .....but i don't hve any credit card....

Dear Friend,

PayPal is better to Use Transaction through Internet. I strongly recommend to Use Paypal if you want to Buy anything as online Purchasing. They are not Levying Charges for Purchasing through Internet. But Papal is charging up to 2.9% as Fees for Receiving Money from anywhere. You can Link your Bank Account to PayPal.They will Confirm your Bank account by Sending Small amount to your Account. Then you have to type that amount in Specified Field to Confirm Account. You have to Ensure the Name in Pay Pal and Bank Account name are Same. Otherwise Withdrawing amount to bank from Papal could not be Process and will have to pay some fine.

You can Link your Visa card to PayPal. PayPal will charge 1.95 dollar for Verification and will Refund to your account.
What can do with PayPal? PayPal lets you quickly and securely send and receive money for goods, services and more.

With PayPal you can:

· Shop online in more than 190 countries and regions.
· Pay for things and send money without sharing your financial information.
· Checkout quickly at hundreds of your favorite online stores (not just eBay!).
· Accept credit cards on your website.
· Make donations to your favorite charity.
· Set up an online shop and receive payments.
· Create a student account to help your kids manage money wisely.
· Use your credit card and earn rewards.

Adjusting for PayPal fees when recording payment received

Actually, you do not want to reduce the product name. When you make the deposit from PayPal, you want it to be for the full amount the customer paid. Then add a second line with a minus amount for the fees, and the account of paypal fees (expense). This way, you split off the fees paid to paypal as an expense, and the bank reconcile matches.
Attempting to reduce the ProductName will only result in tax liability issues, as you have to charge sales tax on the full amount the customer was originally charged.
Using a negative line on the deposit to split the paypal fees off is a much cleaner process, and causes no confussion for the accountants.
