Question about Yamaha Audio Players & Recorders
Does the power relay click when you press the power button? It may be the main transformer has gone bad.

Hi, try to unplug this unit from the wall for a minute or so, It may just need reset. If it still does this I would say that you have a loose wire inside where the power supply is. I would not recommend working on this unless you are computer savvy.

If you have your receiver hooked up to a TV or Monitor, press "Menu" then toggle to section "5" "option menu" and check your "Dimmer" setting "0" is highest. Then check "FL Scroll" and the choice is "Cont". This info is on page 96 in your manual, if you don't still have a copy, here's the link
Hope this helps. If you still have a problem, post a comment and I will help you further.
